Full architectural fit-out including concept drawings, bespoke teak joinery, lighting choreography, civil MEP, and final handover styling.
The Courtyard House sits on a two-acre coastal plot in Alibaug. Rather than placing a single mass, the residence is broken into three pavilions around a central garden — giving every room a relationship with green and breeze.
The material palette is deliberately narrow: board-formed concrete, warm teak joinery and hand-applied lime plaster. Nothing is glossy. The result reads as a house that has always been there, lightly edited rather than built.
Our concept was "borrowed horizon". Every principal room is aligned to a slice of the sea, so the view is never the whole landscape but always a fragment — which keeps the eye moving through the day as light changes. Circulation is externalised into shaded verandas, letting the interior stay cool and quiet.
Documented on handover day by the studio. High-definition views of joinery, textures, and natural lighting.

The nuances that rarely appear in elevation drawings, but determine how quietly a home or workplace functions every single day.
